A Chancellor’s first budget speech is always a big day in the world of tax. The first budget of a new Government is even bigger and, with the largest majority since 2001, the tax profession is expecting big announcements and fundamental changes when Sajid Javid speaks on the 11th March.
With changes being rumoured on dividend and business taxation, entrepreneurs’ relief, inheritance tax and possible alternations to the planned off payroll working rules and IR35, it is essential that advisers are able to help their clients as soon as possible after the speech is delivered, not just with a collection of facts that can be downloaded from the internet but an appreciation of the tips and traps that lie within the new draft legislation and what they really mean for you and your clients.

Budget Newsletters
It is important, with client newsletters, that firms have a professional document, badged and branded with their logos and contact information that the client will actually find useful. PTP will produce a Budget special newsletter which will be available for advisers to distribute to their clients on the Monday immediately following the budget with suitable calls to action and guidance, adding value to the client and the possibility of additional sales for the adviser. The newsletter is not simply a reproduction of data published on the day by HM Treasury.
A budget special pdf newsletter will be available by 16th March for only £59 plus VAT or, for £145 plus VAT, a firm can purchase the budget special plus four quarterly client newsletters.
