Rebecca is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. She is a lecturer, writer and consultant on a variety of taxes, lecturing extensively throughout the UK, to accountants, business people and also to HMRC and the Treasury. She has her own accountancy practice based in Gloucestershire, with a variety of small business and personal tax clients. During the last two years this has become a 100% digital practice. She is Chair of the HMRC Digital Advisory Group, providing help and support to HMRC in understanding the challenges that Making Tax Digital presents to small businesses and their advisers. She is also a member of the Admin Burdens Advisory Board, an independent advisory group to HMRC monitoring the burdens the tax system impose on businesses. Rebecca is a past Chair of the Tax Faculty of the ICAEW, and serves on the Tax Faculty Board. She is ICAEW council member for the West of England, and was awarded an MBE for services to the tax profession in 2012.
Ian has developed a deep technical and practical understanding of a variety of financial management and management accounting topics, such as best practice budgeting, investment appraisal techniques, financial analysis , business case production, cost management, strategy and strategic choice, and in particular the creation and management of shareholder value. He has delivered these courses to both finance professionals who require a deep understanding of these topics, and to operational staff who need to understand the impact of their decisions on business finances. Extensive public sector experience includes work with the MOD and the NHS and a wide ranging finance and value education programme for The Shareholder Executive. More recently Ian has been extensively involved in training a large volume of senior civil servants in Whitehall on best practice commercialisation skills. He has also lectured on the MBA programmes and Aston, Warwick and Loughborough Business Schools, and written two books (published by FT Prentice Hall) on shareholder value and Value-Based Management (VBM). A member of The Institute of Directors and The Federation of Tax Advisers. David Craddock is an independent consultant specialising in employee share ownership and reward management. He is a recognised authority, UK and worldwide, on employee share ownership and is the author of The Tolley’s Guide to Employee Share Schemes and The ICSA Employee Share Schemes Handbook. David advises private companies, quoted companies and employee share trusts on employee incentive arrangements linked to shares as well as on management buy-outs, company rescues and capital reorganisations, all using the tax-efficiencies and commercial effectiveness from employee shares schemes and trusts. David is the senior examiner for The European Centre for Employee Ownership and The ESOP Institute in London in relation to The Certificate in Employee Share Ownership Studies, the material for which he is the author and the principal authority.
Louise has been involved in training for accountancy professionals and for commercial companies for over 25 years, specialising in employment law, company law and professional negligence. She has been a consultant for many years for CompleteHR Ltd, providing HR support to SME clients on all matters connected with recruitment and employment, including contract drafting, investigations, dismissals, tribunal and settlement work . Louise also had a long running relationship with Portsmouth University, as a lecturer and as an associate lecturer and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
Amanda Fisher began her career with HM Revenue and Customs and later moved over into practice and qualified with Grant Thornton where she gained considerable experience dealing with private tax clients and their businesses, trusts and estates. Since becoming self employed in 2004, Amanda has her own tax and accountancy practice of private clients, alongside her other freelance work as a lecturer, examiner and author. She also regularly works as a consultant to firms and practitioners on an array of tax matters, specialising in capital taxes, trust and estate matters. Amanda has devoted time as a committee member for STEP and ICAEW and is currently a branch committee member for ATT/CIOT.

Malcolm Greenbaum is a UK Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, winning the John Wood medal for the best paper in Business Taxation in the November 1995 CIOT exams. He was previously Director of Finance and Taxation Programmes at BPP Professional Education and has delivered IFRS, US GAAP, UK Tax and VAT training to a multitude of organisations world-wide since 1992. Malcolm has particular experience in delivering bespoke training programmes to multi-nationals in the financial services, transport and energy sectors as well as delivering UK tax and VAT update programmes to accounting and law firms. He is passionate about training and his enthusiasm ensures that the participants enjoy the learning experience whilst gaining knowledge through their engagement in the sessions and through encouraging them to ask questions and discuss practical issues they may have.
Peter specialises in financial reporting, auditing, practice regulation and company law. He started his career in professional practice with KPMG and then worked as a professional exam trainer for FTC (now Kaplan). He has been delivering CPD lectures and practical workshops, targeted at accountants in industry and professional practice, since 2002. External audit and internal control are two areas of particular interest for Peter. He also works as a consultant to firms of accountants, advising on the implementation of auditing and accounting standards, as well as conducting practice assurance, anti-money laundering and audit file reviews. Ros spent her early career working for the Inland Revenue in a variety of jobs and dealing with a wide range of different areas of tax. Since leaving she has worked as a lecturer and consultant covering all areas of direct tax and SDLT. Having a consultancy background enables the training to be focussed on current areas of concern and the practical implications of topics being discussed. Interaction is always encouraged allowing delegates the opportunity to use their real life problem/query to work through relevant areas of the course. Jeremy Mindell has been lecturing in taxation for over 20 years. Known on the circuit as an accomplished and entertaining speaker, Jeremy is in high demand for tax, pensions, share schemes and remuneration events. He has developed a specialism in International Corporate Tax, including the new Diverted Profits Tax, transfer pricing and the OECD BEPS project. Jeremy is one of the few individuals in the country who has both qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor but also has a Masters from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. Jeremy worked for three big four firms focusing on employment taxation, expatriate tax, International tax, profit related pay, US taxation and share schemes and HMRC investigations. Neil Owen is an independent consultant, speaker and occasional writer. He has specialised exclusively in VAT since 1984, when he joined HM Customs & Excise as a VAT officer. He entered professional practice in 1990, working for regional accountancy firms in the Thames Valley and Solent areas, before establishing his own VAT consultancy practice in 2007. He is a Fellow of the CIOT and of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants. He is a former editor of Tax Adviser and of the book, CCH VAT Planning, and was for a number of years National Secretary of the VAT Practitioners Group. Neil is an experienced and enthusiastic lecturer, with the unusual reputation for making VAT interesting.
John is a Chartered Accountant and independent training consultant, who lectures for major accountancy practices, professional bodies, training companies and publishers. He speaks on money laundering, company law, auditing and financial reporting. Previously, he has been the technical partner for a top thirty firm of accountants and head of an accountancy network. John is a member of the ICAEWs Audit and Assurance Faculty’s Practitioner Services Committee and has been involved with presenting and writing the material for the Audit & Assurance and Financial Reporting Faculty’s Roadshows for a number of years. Mark Ward qualified with a large firm in 1989, having previously worked in the tax departments of a small and a medium size firm. He has been lecturing on a wide variety of tax matters for 30 years to qualified practitioners and industry specialists in the UK and overseas. His ability to quickly establish a rapport with his audience, and discuss complex matters in a practical, and understandable style means Mark is much in demand on the lecturing circuit. Dean Wootten has been involved in CPD tax training for many years and lectures on a wide variety of tax matters. Dean started his career as a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with Grant Thornton in 1988. Dean then spent two years overseas with KPMG before returning to a medium sized provincial firm in Sussex. Shortly after returning to the UK Dean qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in 1991. Whilst in practice Dean gained valuable experience including five years at partner level. The experience gained enables Dean to focus his lecturing on the practical aspects of the issues presented. Dean is also the senior lecturer on the CTA VAT route at Tolley’s and the EU VAT paper on the ADIT international tax exams. Dean is a regular contributor to Taxation magazine where his articles have got a reputation for providing clear practical advice. In 2014 Dean worked with the Bahamian Government in preparation for the introduction of VAT in the Bahamas from 1 January 2015.
